INSPIRATION

Prayer is a necessary communication with our Heavenly Father. Everyone seems to “say” they pray. But, I wonder if they really communicate. It is a two-way dialogue between two people. Many people think prayer is only their request list that they present to God, but they never allow God the time He needs to speak into their lives.

God still speaks today, and He desires to talk to you. Do you give Him time to speak, and do you lis-ten when He does speak? It may not be in a thun-derous voice or with signs on the wall. It may be in a still small voice. If you are preoccupied, or too busy, you will miss His direction and guidance for daily liv-ing.

I heard it said that “the most important time of prayer is the first 15 minutes after we say Amen.” In other words, give God time to communicate, to speak to you. You will not be sorry. He will speak.

When the Spirit speaks, will your answer be “Yes, Lord!”? Will you be obedient and agree with your whole heart?

Pride can be a barrier to your communication. Man thinks he has all the answers by his knowledge and hard work. However, no one knows the way through your “wilderness” like the One who knows you best. Listen to Him. He will direct your steps.

Make your prayer time a two way conversation. He wants to hear from you, and He wants to speak to you as well. Enjoy your conversation with the lover of your soul. “Speak, Lord. Your servant heareth.”

Rev recently returned from Lima, Peru where he met with sub-region, region, and national church leaders as well as teaching Minister’s Manna and preaching. God opened tremendous doors for ministry in the coming months. The next three mission’s trips are on the calendar…two yet this year. God gave FAVOR with every staff that he met with.
