INSPIRATION
Here are four thoughts to a happier life. Ponder over them and let God speak to you. See if your life will not go to another level of happiness.
Inform your mind. The mind is a battleground upon which battles are lost or won. What are you putting into your mind? The Bible gives you a list of things to think about in Philippians 4:8. Do you have the mind of Christ?
Conform your will. Jesus prayed “not my will but thine be done.” Are you conforming your will to the will of the Master? There is an act of submission and humility to allow His will to be done in your life. Small children want their own way, and sometimes we, as adults, have never changed our way of thinking. Our question should be, “What wilt thou have me to do?”
Transform your heart. To be transformed requires a change. It includes your “treasures” be-cause “where your treasure is there will your heart be also.” Make it your prayer, “transform my heart, O Lord.” Rather than having a heart of stone, ask God to give you a heart of flesh…soft and broken.
Reform your ways. Our actions must line up with the lifestyle taught to us in His Word. It includes more than being obedient to the Ten Commandments which might be a starting point. Target one thing today and begin to transform your ways.
